Moving the Farrell House, 1977

Subject: The moving of the Farrell House from Wilson Street and East Washington Street to the river front. This house was originally built by Frank Burns who took over his father’s, John Wier Burns, grocery store across the street at East Washington and Bremen Streets. The house eventually became the home of Irene Burns Farrell and her husband Bill Farrell, Mayor of Petaluma in the 1930s.
